My work is socially oriented, focused on highlighting flaws in the Peruvian society. Questioning and confrontation are the tools that enable me to build this process. Through different media, such as audio, installations, urban interventions, I attempt to create a dialogue with the spectator.
The piece addresses the migration, considering the internal and external migration in Peru. The installation aims to present the migrant's imaginary, the various icons that mark their territories by different cultural shift from a province of Peru, from Lima to a big city like New York.
The installation displays the threads of transit migration, building the iconography of each place, and accompanied with audios that are the testimonies of people who have migrated.
